Online marketing can work well and its returns are quantifiable, proving that your investment is worth it. We create campaigns that are highly specific in targeting the right people (via highly specific search terms) in the right place (geographically located if applicable) at the right time (some people only come out at night to play!).
A trial campaign (usually Google Adwords) with a fixed budget is always the first step, limiting your financial risk, and proving that a campaign will work. Subsequently an ongoing campaign will run at whatever level of investment you like, with continual attention from us to keep it running smoothly, and working for its money. You will be given information such as the cost to acquire an order or client enquiry for each search phrase sponsored, and how the budget is spent on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
We are happy to run campaigns for clients who do not host their website with us, but we will be open and honest about any perceived issues that may be present such as a poorly designed site which could mean that although you get visitors, they may not be likely to buy!
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Want to be top of Google? That phrase is bandied about far too often. Nowadays no one can guarantee this (and don't trust anyone who claims this however convincing and with apparent proof!), even with paid advertising, you can never be guaranteed top placement or even second or third place unless you want to be top for a word or phrase that no one else has used, i.e. that's no use to anyone!
However, we can certainly improve your ranking on natural search results and give you the best possible chance of ranking highly, if not at the top (although it does happen!).
Using methods approved by the search engines (Whitehat SEO techniques) we have a two pronged approach to SEO:
- Internal Website SEO optimisation
- Each page title and content is analysed and where necessary adjusted to be Search Engine Friendly while maintaining full readability for potential customers. A 'common sense' approach is used to re-word titles and content to contain the phrases and keywords that are associated with the pages' content and likely use in Search Engines.
'Blackhat' techniques are never used (and we will refuse to use them even if asked) as this could result in websites being blacklisted by Search Engines.
- External Optimisation
- We lift the respectability of your website (in the eyes of the Search Engines) by building valuable incoming links from 3rd party websites that are related in some way to your business whether it be by industry or region. We analyse all most successful competitors' incoming links to see which sites should also be linking to yours; only sites that have a good search engine ranking are selected. This exercise can be a never-ending task so we offer it as a fixed-duration task during implementation of a new website, as well as optional ongoing work, so that your website's ranking continues to grow over time with a manageable budget.
